What in the World is Reece Doing?

Dear Friend,

God is on the move! A lot has happened in the past year, and I am brimming with excitement to let you know a little bit of what He has done in my life.

AMT-

In August 2020, with the world on lockdown, I set off for Zambia. There I joined 49 other people in a three month long Advanced Missionary Training with a ministry called Overland Missions. Our group, the largest in the history of the program, coming from eight different countries, was set on this one goal: to pursue the call of God that is on our lives. These three months in Zambia were amazing; It was an amazing adventure, an amazing time of ministry, amazing teaching, and full of amazing people. The training varied from classes on our identity in Christ to ministering deep in the bush to learning to cook traditional Zambian dishes over an open fire. (and showing how a Hoosier throws down on some fried taters). More than anything, it was a time to see the future God had for me.

What Next?-

As I prepared to say goodbye to Zambia and those who I now consider family, I sat down with my leaders and I said yes to a life of sharing the greatest gift EVER: the Gospel of Jesus Christ! I am currently in preparation to work with Overland Missions full-time as an Expedition Leader. I will be leading and empowering teams of people to share the life-giving gospel to the unreached and forgotten people of the world. God is so good!

Since January, I have been meeting with individuals and churches to build a team of supporters. I will be able to launch into the field once I have raised enough funds to be fully supported on a monthly basis. I have been believing God for people who are excited about my mission and willing to support me in prayer and finances. I have been blown away with the amount of people that have partnered with me, and I am eager to continue reaching out to friends and family to share my vision.
